Set Up: We use a different color hula hoop with matching gator skin ball for each team. In this video I had one of my smaller classes in that day. But this will work for just about any size group.
Divide students into teams in relay style lines. Each player takes a turn rolling their ball and trying to get it to stop inside one of their team’s hoops. A miss and the player runs to get the ball and brings it back to the next player. On a make the player returns that hoop and ball to his/her team. Play continues until all of the team’s hoops have been captured and collected.
I have used this game with KG-4th grades, but, it can be played with any level. It is challenging at times to get that ball to stop right where you want it to.
