Scooter Scrabble

Students have partners. After learning a variety of ways to travel safely on the scooter in previous lessons, they take turns going to get one letter and bring it back to their cone: 1. Students pick one letter at a time- they cannot peek at the letter they pick 2. They must collect 10 letters before spelling a word and must maintain 10 letters 3. Words must be 4+ letters long 4. When they have a word, they raise their hand, the teacher verified it, they write the word and point value on their paper, teacher collects that word and redistributed the letters to the center 5. Anything to do with health or exercise is a double word score 6. They cannot spell out names or States
