This pacer test is hard but the kids enjoy it…this is our second or third year doing these in which we found off of youtube. We have modified it to fit our school/needs/kids. The distance we run is about 25.5 feet (we use the lines that are already painted on the floor for us rather than making new ones). We run pacers 2x a month and in February so this one instead. We use the normal cadence but shorten the lines. Students must get flat down on their bellies before the beep. Hands must be on the line. Other than that, the body doesn’t matter and how they get up doesn’t matter. On the second miss they are done just as usual. The record this year for boys was 131 And girls was 102- both 8th graders. That’s insane!
