Carnival Games

A different twist to traditional stations!  We made the stations into a “carnival” like step up with different games the students can play at any time.  Not describe in the video is the concept of students using money to pay for different games.  We used playing cards to simulate money with each game being worth 5 bucks or 1 card.  If they won the station or game they would receive an additional 5 bucks or 1 card.

The students goal is to see how much money they can make by the end of class.  If they run out of money they have to do an exercise to receive more money.  We did 5 pushups and 5 curl ups gets you two cards or 10 bucks.

To add fun we made the students pay us 1 card to go to the bathroom or get a drink of water. 

Feel free to use the idea, add different stations, change some aspects of the game.
