Ultimate Kickball

**This can easily be adapted for baseball and softball**

It’s just like Kickball, but with less waiting, fewer decisions, and a HE🏒🏒  of a lot more fun. It’s best played with rounds of a minute or two, with the goal being to acquire as many points in that time as possible. Play for 2 minutes, switch sides. If you’re keeping score, try playing where the defense gets points for every out they get and the offense gets points like normal.

• Know where to throw when you get the ball
• Be involved in a play even if the ball doesn’t come to you
• Be aware of other base runners after making a “catch out”.

• Kick where the defense isn’t
• Watch the ball when running bases

FAQs:

If the kicker knocks over the pin, what happens?

If they are on the base when range pin goes down, they’re safe. If not, they’re out.

Does the tag up rule apply?

No. Catching the ball only gets the kicker out. The pin must still be knocked down to stop base runners. Lots of players travel after catching a ball.
