Star Wars

Play Star Wars by dividing the class into two teams. One side is Skywalker>s Rebel Federation and the other is Vader>s Dark Side. The Dark Side uses hula-hoops to build two Death Stars and stands thin pins up as Storm Troopers. Skywalker>s side builds two Federation Headquarters and stands thin pins as Jedi Knights. All players can use foam noodles as light sabers. The light sabers are to be used ONLY as blocking tools. The children will work on under and overhand throwing skills to knock down the other sides thin pins and hula-hoops. The children like to call the yarn balls things like lasers, missals, and bombs. Use teamwork and team strategy to determine who will be blockers and who will be attackers. If you buy the Star Wars music and play it, the students will have a blast.
