Purple Twirp

A bowling pin is in the middle of the circle with one guard. The rest of the students are on our large circle with the ragg soccer balls. When a student kicks the soccer ball and knocks down the pin, they become the new guard and the old guard becomes a kicker. If the guard knocks down the pin, they set it back up and become a kicker. There is no guard until it gets knocked down by a ball. You can choose someone who has not had a turn to be the guard as well. This game works well with a climbing activity in our gym. One partner climbs while the other partner plays Purple Twirp. They trade places when the climber is done.
