Materials needed: 6 Hula Hoops, items to decorate Christmas tree, tall cones that can act as Christmas trees, colored scooters. Items are put into six separate hula hoops on one side of the gym. 5 cones are setup on the other side with scooters in front of the cones. Spread the items out and place them in the hula hoops. If a Who gets tagged or they fall off of the scooter with an item then they must put it back and carry their scooter back to their team. If they do not get tagged they continue back to their cone and decorate their Christmas tree. The teacher can end them game whenever they choose and I always have the Grinch and Max pick the winners by how well they decorated their tree.

Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with the plan. “Tom Landry”
Setting a goal and achieving a goal are two very different concepts. If done correctly, goal setting can motivate students and athletes to maximize their performance. In many cases, however, goals are set and then left alone. Teachers, managers and coaches may have the best of intentions when they ask their students, athletes, and teams to set goals, but then the “full speed ahead” mentality kicks in and goals are often neglected or forgotten.
