Fitness Noodle Tag

In this game students are organized into pairs. Partners are spaced out around the outside of the basketball court. One partner will start with a noodle. When the activity begins the partner with a noodle goes out onto the basketball court and tries to tag another student below the waist with the noodle. The other student remains on the outside of the basketball court and performs any fitness activity. I encourage my students to perform a variety of activities. We list off activities on the board before playing. Once a student is tagged he/she returns and switches with the partner. Variation: Students may only tag other players with the same color noodle (I have three colors). Girls may only tag girls, and boys may only tag boys. Girls may only tag boys, and boys may only tag girls. Once you are tagged or tag some one else, go back and switch. Add a terminator. Terminator has two noodles and can tag anyone, but no one can tag the terminator. Safety procedures: Any one who falls down, must go
