This activity is a circuit. I usually have between 8 and 12 stations planned for the students to execute between running a lap. These stations are printed on a piece of paper so the students can help direct their partner. The students will be attempting to complete the circuit in the best/fastest time possible. They are competing against their partner and classmates. Their partner will keep track of each of their exercises to ensure they are completed (remember they are competing against each other). If they don’t complete an exercise they will be penalized five seconds for each incomplete trial. I usually allow the students to choose who they want to compete/pair with.
