This idea was shared at the IAHPERD convention in 2007. It was presented by Susan Flynn (Purdue University) and her students. The dance I watched was a little more structured and the young man leading the dance was a much better dancer than you will see in my video. When I do this with my class as a warm up it is different every time. I have never done the dance the same way because I do not plan out the steps (very obvious). You do not have to dance well (as you will see) for the kids to love it! Lastly- an adaptation I did one year was choosing students to be the leader rather than myself. It proved interesting.
