3 on 3 Cut Throat The only equipment you need is a basketball. Make 3 teams of 3. Two teams play at a time. One is on defense; the other is on offense while the third team waits. The rotation works like this. Offense gets to stay on the court if they make a basket (make it, take it). The defense gets to stay on the court if they get a defensive rebound or they steal the pass. The reward for getting a stop is the defense gets to become the new offense. The waiting team will always come in and play defense. Each game starts with a check on top. I do not let them steal the dribble this takes care of most of the fouls. If there are any arguments we play rock-paper-scissors, or we re-do it. NO FIGHTING OR ARGUING! This isn’t men’s league basketball.
