Human Heart Obstacle Course

In the multi-day circulatory system lesson plan, students will explore the function of each component of the heart by pretending to be the blood traveling through the heart. They will increase their heart rate and endurance by physically maneuvering through the ventricles, valves, atriums and aorta. Signs/drawings are in place at each Obstacle noting the part of the heart they are in and the proper flow as they proceed through each one.
