Electricity The equipment you need is a quarter and an object to grab. Divide your class into 2 even groups and put them into straight lines. The students sit cross legged with hands on the shoulders of the person in front of them. Everyone closes their eyes except for the last person in each line. The teacher goes to the back of the lines and flips the quarter. On heads, the person in back starts the electrical charge by “gently” squeezing the shoulders of the person in front of them. Once a students feels their shoulders squeezed they continue the charge by squeezing the person in front of them. Once the charge gets to the front person, the front person tries to grab the object which is placed between the two front people. The first group to grab the object gets a point. The important part of this game is if tails comes up. If tails comes up no charge should be sent. Some students will try to send the charge on the sound of the quarter hitting the ground, tails keeps them honest.
