Scooter Soccer

Students split into 2 teams. One team sits on the sideline of the basketball court and the other teams sits on the opposite sideline. The teams face each other. Seven players from each team get a scooter board. You could play more players from each team if you have more scooters. The seven players face each other from the back line of the basketball court and the game begins when the whistle is blown. The seven players can only use their feet to kick the ball. If they use their hands, a point goes to the other team. The object of the game is to have the ball hit the hanging mats at the end of the gym. The teams that are sitting on the sidelines are also active. They are the “bumpers.” Their legs should be out and they can help kick the ball to their teammates when it comes to them. If they touch it with their hands, a point goes to the other team. If they leave the sideline they are sitting on, a point goes to the other team.
