Literacy & Movement Lab

Through collaboration with the Kindergarten teachers this lab is designed to incorporate movement activities with literacy skills and is differentiated to support all learners. Data analysis of curriculum-based measurements identified specific literacy skills to target with Tier 2 and Tier 3 kindergarten students. Once a week students go through 6-7 literacy based centers during their normal 25 minute wellness class time. Additionally, twenty students come to the lab an extra 1-2 times per week during a morning intervention block period for 30 minutes.
