This is a throwing game that can be used for 2nd through 5th grade. Divide the gym into 2 courts with the volleyball net. Each side will need 6-10 hula hoops depending on your class size. Create 2 teams for each court. Place the beanbags in one location un the center of the gym. Scatter soft balls for throwing. Select students to stand in the hula hoops on the oppenents side. Students are throwing the ball over the net and trying to get it to go through teammates hoop. When it goes through a hoop they will switch places. On the way back to their side the student that was holding the hoop stops to pick up a beanbag for their team. Team wih the most beanbags win.
