Setup
- Students work with a partner.
- Each pair stands facing each other.
- Place one cone on the ground in the middle between them.
- Both players start with hands on their own head.
How to Play
- The teacher leads the group by calling out body parts in any order:
- “Head!”
- “Shoulders!”
- “Knees!”
- “Toes!”
- Each time a body part is called, players must quickly touch that body part.
- At any moment, instead of a body part, the teacher yells “CONE!”
- When players hear “CONE,” they must grab the cone as fast as possible.
- The player who grabs the cone first wins the round.
- The player that does not grab the cone will jog around the gym.
- Players will find a new partner to challenge.
Rules
- Hands must return to the last called body part until the next call.
- If a player grabs the cone before “CONE” is called, the other player wins the round.
- Keep feet in place (no stepping on the cone).
Great for warm-ups, reaction time, listening skills, and lots of laughs!
