Grinch

Tell the students they are going to play a tag game, and the purpose of the game is to stay away from the Grinch by working on aerobic endurance. Designate two to four people to be the Grinch, giving them santa hats to wear. Designate two to four people to be chimney sweepers by giving them feather dusters to carry. Everyone else is a Gift Giver. On the “go” signal, the Grinch tries to tag the Gift Givers. When tagged, the Gift Givers get stuck in a chimney (frozen position). The Gift Giver becomes unstuck when a chimney sweeper tickles him/her with the chimney sweep (feather duster).
