Grand Slam

A great game for your Striking With Implements Unit.

Rules:

– Hit the ball, Drop the Bat, Tag the Bucket… then next person repeats

– If you hit all the balls in your bucket, when it’s your turn you may pick a ball up out of your square to hit (this helps your team decrease your points)

– Play 3 minutes – count up the balls and the team with the least points wins

Modifications:

– place mats up on their side to create barriers between the squares and force the students to hit the ball in the air

– change ball or bat

– If playing w/2 classes (or if you want max activity w/one class) use 2 T’s in each corner so there will be 2 kids hitting at the same time from one team.
