Great basketball activity for 2nd-6th graders. If you have any poly spots write on the back of them various exercise activities (ie 5 pushups, 10 jump jackts, etc). Keep some of them blank. If you don’t want to write directly on the poly spot you can place floor tape on the back and write on that. Scatter the spots around the basketball goals. Students will have a partner and 1 basketball. They will take turns going to a poly spot and shooting. If they make the basket, they pick up the spot, the ball and head back to their partner. They will perform the exercise on the back of the spot and when finished the next person may go shoot. Blank spots are freebes. When all the spots have been collected, the team with the most wins. Scatter spots and play again.
