Catch Me If You Can

This is a game of tag for 3rd – 5th grades.  Three students are chosen to be “it” and tag with their hands.  Once a student gets tagged they remain frozen until the can catch a ball thrown to them.  I use 3, softball size FOAM balls.  If the ball goes past the student trying to catch it they remain frozen.  Once the frozen student catches a ball their job is to go find a frozen student and throw them the ball.
