Here’s an example of some of the Follow the Leader skills I take my kiddos through to warmup during our first basketball lesson

Similar to our Jump Rope Unit, I have divided some of the ball handling tricks up into Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Tricks for my different grade levels
.
The GIFS or videos are great, but if you don’t have a screen you can also just lead the challenges yourself (which is what I did for years before getting a screen in my gym and creating the FTL Videos and GIF Slideshows)
.
This was a 2nd grade crew and we were doing the Intermediate Skills
.
