Here is a way for students to safely make a hockey stick or golf club. They need a stick, paper towel roll, and some tape (optionally, but helpful). For a ball students can use a piece of paper if they don’t have a soft ball or items to strike (small sock would work also). You can do either or both activities indoors or outdoors if it is nice. Students can practice dribbling, shooting, or passing (If they have a partner and two sticks) for hockey. They can also design a miniature golf course and practice striking a ball.
