Kindy working on tracking, catching and reaction time with our Scarf Launch and Catch Station

This is a fun way to work on tracking and catching skills in K-1, I’m guessing it might work with balloons as well, but I didn’t try those out – Scarves worked really well though!
.
Once I added 2 blowers together it made some pretty awesome and unpredictable scarf flights
.
We also tried 2 scarfs at a time to up the challenge with a few of my classes
.
Some of the students requested to try balloons and beach balls so we gave those a shot as well – they didn’t really launch, but they do a great job hovering in midair and the kids loved watching them or practicing striking them out of air
