The Fountain / Skee Ball

This is a fun hand-eye tossing game that simulates being at an arcade or a fair.  Each group gets a bowl with poker chips, 3 (or more buckets) and a starting line.  The object of the activity is to get all you chips in the “fountain” one chip at a time while tossing from a specific spot.  Variations:  1.  Adding more buckets to make the fountain higher.  2.  Tossing from further back to make it more challenging.  3.  Giving students a certain number of buckets and letting them create the shape that they want.  4.  Playing with chips only landing in a certain bucket…or at least one chip in every bucket. ……..

Great activity that got kids in K – 5 moving, sharing, and having some challenging fun as well.
