Pathways are Everywhere

This video is designed for younger students to understand, practice, and participate in a self-guided lesson involving pathways.  Students will use a pathway card generated by the teacher to travel throughout the space as an introduction to the concept then they will add in locomotor skills and directions to their pathways to begin to apply their learning.  Extensions include but are not limited to having them travel with a ball as they travel through the pathways (i.e. basketball dribbling, or foam football carry, etc…).  They can even create their own pathway movement pattern by choosing their own direction, pathway, and locomotor skill.   If time permits after the shown quiz, students can create their own pathway cards and trade them with their friends!
