“Irish Jig” for your younger students!

Download the song, “The Irish Jig” by Fern.  I got mine on cd and it is also on ITunes.  It is a great song.  Most of the lyrics tell the children what to do and how to move their bodies.   For example, “Heel, toe,” and you can see the students are trying really hard to this, even though developmentally, not a lot can do it perfectly.  Mainly, they are having so much fun!  This would be a great song for a school performance around St. Patrick’s Day!  Could also be used as a “brain break” for classroom teachers!
