Dance Till You Drop!

The first grade students chose the music from their favorite Peanuts movie to create a dance for performance at the St. Mary’s Academy Lower School Assembly. The students used the elements of dance to convey the enjoyment and pride in dancing. The complete dance was a real workout! Repetition was used to remember the actions, listen to the rhythms and see the movement in the music. The students took ownership of their creation and experienced the magic of dance at their Primary Dance Assembly performance on Friday, February 24, 2017.
