Deck Ring Kickers!

Thank you for your rating!

This skill can be used in a lot of other ways....you can have partners go against each other with the upside down cone in between them, you can vary the distance, you can also have two upside down cones side by side and they student tries to kick the deck ring in between them (100 points for each cone they knock down and 500 points if it slides through clean).

Thats cool, The students really seem to enjoy this activity. How long do you usually spend on an activity like this?

This is usually one of six kicking centers toward the end of the unit. Each center is about 5 minutes. Earlier in the unit the students practice with each student having a cone and deck ring. We also do a plethora of other deck ring kicking activities. I will post those later. One of the few activities that all of the students, K - 5, love doing!
