Sorry about the volume, I wanted to do a voice over, but my mic wouldn’t work :( I am technically challenged these days. Below is a list of the stations. Email me if you have questions. I like to do fitness stations once a week and keep the same stations for a 6 week period. By keeping the same stations it limits my instruction time as the six weeks progress and helps the students to master each exercise. Spooky Fitness Stations 1. The Evil Empire stand with one foot on the Death Star in the middle of the gym and throw gator balls to try and hit Jedi shoulder or below. This is a GREAT Rhythmical warm-up for the Holidays. It’s a partner activity and can also be done using Lummi Sticks. This activity was created by Dr. Pug Parris of McMurry University. The song is "Christmas Cookies" by The Oak Ridge Boys. I downloaded the song from http://mp3.walmart.com/store/home for only a $1. I hope you’ll give this activity a try! WE LOVE ITBy: Shannon Jarvis| On: Dec 11, 2009 7:28 PM| Views: 6928
This is a GREAT Rhythmical warm-up for the Holidays. It is very important for you to emphasis keeping the beat while you travel in and out of the groups. Some of my students demonstrated screaming and running for you while finding their groups. Also let your students know to keep personal space while traveling to avoid bumping into each other. This activity was created by Dr. Pug Parris of McMurry University. The song is "I want a Hippo for Christmas" off the CD “Kid>s Christmas Party” by DennisBy: Shannon Jarvis| On: Dec 11, 2009 6:43 PM| Views: 6774
