No Materials needed. The teacher will select 1 student to be the "germ." The germ will stand in the center circle of the gymnasium. All other students will stand around the court without going out of bounds (basketball court lines). Once the game starts, the germ will try to tag other players. If a student is tagged, then they will join hands with the germ and help be a tagger. The germ can only tag with the end hands. Straddle Ball

Materials: 3 Foam Balls Students will standing around a circle facing the center. Students will stand in a "straddling" position with their feet connected to the students on both sides of them. Students feet must stay connected and on the line of the circle at all times. If a student breaks either of the rules then they are out. Pyramid Battle

This is the most effective, innovative, and fun game we use in our physical education class. When we play this game, students come in the gym jumping up and down with excitement. Students leave class sweating with a smile on their face. Academic classroom teachers love to see this game played because it reinforces what they are learning in the Math class.
