Hello I am a first year PE teacher and I teach grades pre-k to 8th grade. It’s my 7th week and I’m struggling to come up with games and activities. Anyone have suggestions they use and would be willing to share?

My students love the following activities! I have a lot of videos posted here if you want to search my name to find them. Good Luck! Hang in there. Nukem https://youtu.be/Q1CxBsp_tSk Long Ball https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ob12wzsmEk&t=42s PinBowl Soccer Video Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QHIWBXbpDU Continuous 5 on 5: Have students divide themselves as evenly as possible among the five cones on the sideline near half court. The first five play defense on one side, the next five defense on the other, and the next five are on offense. Offense starts with the basketball in the middle of the gym and decides which way they would like to travel first. If offense scores on defense, offense keeps the ball and heads to the other side to play a new team on defense. If defense wins’ possession of the ball they become the new offensive team and travel to the other side of the gym to play that defensive team. If offense keeps scoring, offense stays on and defense wipes off and the next five come on to play defense.

If you're not Twitter consider making an account strictly for PE. There are videos posted daily by other PE teachers. Also, I have about 75 activities in the video sections on my website. Mainly geared for elementary ages but many would work up to 8th grade. https://www.wilkespe.com/pe-videos-3.html
